Travis Scott closed the first day of Hangout Music Festival 2019 on Friday (May 17) in Gulf Shores, Alabama. Before performing his track “Love Galore,” he stated that the profits from his merch sold at the festival would be donated to Planned Parenthood.
Many other performers at Hangout spoke out in protest about the anti-abortion law that passed in Alabama and donated their earnings toward Planned Parenthood and Yellowhammer Fund. Travis did not reference the Alabama law explicitly but he said, “We feel for those out in Alabama,” and “I love y’all and I just want everyone to know that love is the strongest thing we can have.”
A fan posted a video of his statement on Twitter. Watch it below!
