It’s been a long season for basketball fans but the 2019 NBA Finals are finally here with the Golden State Warriors and Toronto Raptors making it to the end.
We know that this time of year people put aside their friendly attitude and things start to get real. A little trash-talking at games is common but when it come to trash-talking off the court, now that just another level of what we are used too hearing at games.
Jimmy Kimmel showed us how mean and competitive people can truly be when it comes to fans and their rivalries by having a few players and owners read some hateful tweets about themselves for the Thursday segment of “Mean Tweets.”
The Jimmy Kimmel Live! host recruited some big NBA names, too, including Kevin Durant, Charles Barkley, Ben Simmons, Chris Bosh, Bradley Beal, Dirk Nowitzki and Joel Embiid. Steve Ballmer, Jrue Holiday, Paul George, Kyle Lowry, Kemba Walker, Karl Anthony-Towns, Danny Green, Khris Middleton, Brook Lopez and Robin Lopez also experienced the social media shade.
