Summer is here and it’s time to explore! But don’t worry, that doesn’t mean that you have to break the bank to do so. Atlanta has so much to offer and a lot of those things are free.
Free Yoga In The Park
If you are looking for a place to spend your down time and relax, head on over to Historic Fourth Ward Skate Park every Tuesday this summer from 7-8 p.m. This event is sponsored by King Of Pops, so feel free to grab a treat while you are there!
Walk The Atlanta Beltline
The best way to explore Atlanta while squeezing some exercise in is to take a walk on the Atlanta Beltline. If you’re up for it,stop by Ponce City Market on the way and explore all of the shops and restaurant.
Piedmont Park
One of the best places to go to during the summer is Piedmont Park. The atmosphere is amazing, and it’s a great place to have a picnic or play soccer. Sometimes there are even free events being held there such as the annual Atlanta Jazz Festival.
Stone Mountain Park
Located about 30 minutes outside of Atlanta, Stone Mountain Park is a great place to visit and is a good exercise if you decide to hike all the way to the top. If you make it to the top, be sure to stop and take in the view.
Krog Street Tunnel
If you want to see some amazing artwork or just take a cool picture for Instagram, stop by the Krog Street Tunnel. It’s a really amazing place to see.
